Earlier this year the Panora Chamber of Commerce and Panorama Days Committee announced they would be holding a logo contest for this year’s event.

Last month the winner of the contest was announced, and Chamber Coordinator April Imming says that Brittney Arganbright submitted the winning design. Arganbright’s concept included an aerial view of Lake Panorama in the background, and the gazebo from the town square in the foreground, with a flag flying above the building. Imming tells Raccoon Valley Radio why the design was chosen.

“We probably had, gosh I bet we had at least 20 to 25 entries. And we liked this one because it brought together both, kind of town and the lake, and it was just so simple. We were looking for something that wasn’t real busy and just kind of something real simplistic. And this was the winner, and we’re really excited.”

Imming adds Arganbright received $100 in chamber bucks as a prize for the winning design,. She explains that while this was the first year that this contest has been implemented, the Chamber wants to continue it to see what other interesting designs may be drawn up for future celebrations.
