The AC/GC Chargers had a bit of reprieve last night from the many games they’ve had this week, but the baseball team is back in action today. The team is hosting the Charger Invitational, with the 7-4 Bedford Bulldogs, 8-5 Hinton Blackhawks and 8-3 Central Decatur Cardinals all coming to participate. Central Decatur and Hinton have both won their last five games, the last game for Central Decatur having been against Bedford. Bedford is 2-3 in their last five games, having lost to Pleasantville and their last game against the Cardinals, while the Chargers have gone 1-4 in the last five games, the win coming against the Panorama Panthers on Monday this last week.
