The Perry baseball team will begin their second trip through the Heart of Iowa tonight when they host South Hamilton in a 7:30 varsity game. The Bluejays will be looking for their second straight win after a 4-3 victory Wednesday night over Nevada.
Perry’s first encounter with the Hawks was a wild one back in May. The Bluejays rallied for a ten inning 5-4 win. Fausto Beato earned the win with two plus innings of scoreless relief. Owen Myers started the game and struck out a career high 11 batters.
South Hamilton will be looking to snap a seven game losing skid tonight. You can listen to the game with Shawn Kenney on KDLS and streaming at raccoonvalleyradio.com.
