Andrew Weddle, Johnston, was driving on 240th Street at U Ave, when he slowed to make a turn onto U Ave. As he was attempting to turn, he was struck from behind by Kobe Julius, Williamsburg. Both were checked out by Dallas Co EMS and Mr. Weddle was transported to Mercy Hospital for evaluation of any injuries. Damage to Mr. Weddle’s car was estimated at $7000. Damage to Mr. Julius’ car was also estimated at $7000. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
June 8
Dawn Bowles, Storm Lake, was traveling on Hwy 169 at Hwy 141, when a vehicle turned in front of her. The turning vehicle, driven by Christopher Walker, Perry, did not see Ms. Bowles vehicle before attempting the turn onto Hwy 141. Both drivers were transported to Methodist hospital for evaluation of any injuries. Damage to Ms. Bowles car was estimated at $40000. Damage to Mr. Walker’s car was estimated at $12000. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Phillip Fleming, Nevada, was traveling in the 24000 block of Hwy 44, when he struck a deer. No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $5000.
Kami Hilton, age 28, 313 K St, Fort Dodge, was arrested for Provide False Identification Information and Violation Of No Contact Order.
June 9
Jeree Mozee, age 26, 1218 Williams St, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear on a Violation Of Probation.
Maung Soe, age 37, 6705 Crown Point Ave, Omaha, NE, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear on a Violation Of Probation.
