The Dallas Center-Grimes baseball and softball teams did not fair well against a conference opponent on Wednesday evening.
Trevor Hamil was the starting pitcher for the Mustang’s and he went five innings only allowing two earned runs while striking out seven. The Mustang baseball team was held in check and lose by a score of 6 to 1 and fall to (4-2) and (10-4) record on the season and will matchup with Indianola on the road tomorrow.
Audrey Johansen was the starting pitcher for the Mustang softball team and she ran into a miserable top of the fourth inning were a couple errors and some well timed hits by Norwalk were able to score five runs. The Warriors would finish the job with Zoey Wadle on the mound. The Warriors beat Dallas Center-Grimes 8 to 2 and hand Audrey Johansen her first loss of the season. They will have to shake that loss quickly cause they’ll have Waukee Northwest tonight at 7:30pm and that game can be heard on Raccoon Valley Radio’s mobile stream KDLS-2.
