The Mary J Barnett Memorial Library will be having a fun event with a library favorite coming up.
Library Director Jerri Hawkins says that the Absolute Scientist will be visiting from 4-5:30pm on Monday for his Bubble Stations show, where children will be able to see different ways bubbles are made and some of their properties. She adds that the Absolute Scientist has done some events at the library before, and that he’s always been a big hit.
“I’m looking really forward to him. We just want to have some fun with the kids and make reading more than just fun.”
Hawkins mentions that the event is free. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that they have the Absolute Scientist coming back in the beginning of July as well.
