The City of Yale will be having their annual cleanup day soon.
The one-day cleanup event will be from 8am to 2pm on June 11th,and the city asks that residents have their items on the curb and ready for pick up by the start time. Residents may also take their items in themselves. For furniture and household items, there will be roll-off containers on the north side of Memorial Park, along with a designated container for appliances and scrap metal only.
There is no charge for appliances, but all TV’s will have a $20 fee that must be paid at Farmers State Bank for the sticker that must be applied to the device. The city will not accept household garbage, tires, batteries, paint, cement, grass clippings, tree limbs or chemicals of any kind. The cleanup day is for all residents living within the city limits.
