The ADM varsity girls soccer team ended their postseason run in a 1-0 loss in the quarterfinal round of the Iowa State 2A Soccer Tournament to the Pella Dutch this past Wednesday afternoon in Des Moines. The Pella Dutch scored their only goal of the match when junior Abby Warner scored it with on 20 seconds left in the first half of the match, when she kicked into the goal from 20 yards out. This match was just a back fourth match where ADM Tigers had many chances to score but just couldn’t get it past Pella senior goalkeeper Haley Van Houweling, she only had given up four goals all season long heading into this matchup against the ADM Tigers and she ended getting the nice 1-0 shutout win for the Pella Dutch. Senior ADM goalkeeper Dani Person only allowed one goal in the match against Pella while she made several saves through the match.

The ADM Tigers will be losing these following seniors to graduation after this season and they are: Dani Person, Ella Reis, Sarah Tapken, Lauren Case and Alexa Seidl. They will have a lot of the underclassmen coming up for next year. The ADM varsity girls soccer sure did a tremendous job this season and were sure fun to watch this season. All the ADM soccer players and coaches sure enjoyed having all you fans at their matches this spring for away and home games.
