The Stuart Fremont Theatre is preparing for one of its annual summer events.

Recently, the lineup for the 2023 iteration of the Free Merchant Movies was announced, bringing with it a mix of classics and newer movies. Movies will be shown on Wednesdays at 11am and 2pm starting next week, and going through to August 2nd. The Stuart Fremont Theatre is able to have these free showings thanks to sponsorships from local businesses.

For this month, the theater will show “Despicable Me” on the 7th, “Kung Fu Panda” on June 14th, “Sing 2” on the 21st and “The Croods: A New Age” on June 28th. For a full list of the movies and sponsors, click on the link here.
