The Adel Public Library is asking for volunteers to help them with maintenance. 

Patron Services Manager Amy Puck says that the first Saturday of every month until October they will have their “Landscaping Day.”Puck notes the next Landscaping Day at the library will be tomorrow from 8am to 10am. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that this volunteer-based event will help them with the preservation of the library property. 

“We are asking for volunteers to come in from around 8 am to 10 am to help clean up the outdoor flower beds, do some general maintenance, pulling weeds and the fun gardening activities that we all look forward to during this time of year.”

Puck says the easiest way to get involved is to show up tomorrow and dress appropriately for work related activities.
