A Harcourt man was arrested on a warrant after a month-long investigation by the Jefferson Police Department.

According to court documents, from February 3rd-28th, officers found evidence that 35-year-old Zein Ibrahim attempted several times to contact an individual who had a no contact order in place against Ibrahim. Ibrahim left voice messages on the victim’s cell phone, left notes on the vehicle and visited the victim’s place of employment. 

Ibrahim was charged with a Class D Felony for stalking -violation of a no contact order, as well as two simple misdemeanors for third degree harassment and violation of a no contact order. Court documents show a warrant was issued on April 27th and Ibrahim was arrested this past Wednesday in the 100 block of V Avenue. He was booked into the Greene County Jail.
