The Greene County High School Boys Soccer Team is preparing for its first round matchup in the Class 2A Boys’ State Soccer Tournament.

The Rams are playing Gilbert in the quarterfinals on Tuesday at 1:20pm at the Cownie Soccer Complex in Des Moines. Greene County qualified for the state tournament after they defeated Chariton 3-0 in the substrate finals. The sixth-seeded Rams are entering state with a 13-4 record, while the third-seeded Gilbert Tigers have an 18-2 record.

The soccer match will be broadcasted live on KGRA 98.9FM and streamlined online at raccoonvalleyradio.com. Coverage begins around 1pm, with kickoff at 1:20pm on Tuesday.
