The ADM varsity girls soccer team picked up a 5-0 shutout win Council Bluff Jefferson Yellow Jackets in the second round of the 2A Region 7 Iowa State soccer playoffs. The ADM girls got on the scoreboard first when Sophomore Hannah Desmarais scored the first goal of goal of for the ADM Tigers the 1-0 lead with 36:57 left in the 1st half. Then with 4:55 left in the 1st half Sophomore Jada Grove scored her first of two goals in the match which made the score 2-0 lead for the ADM Tigers. Then in the second half with 26:44 left to play in the 2nd half Josi Dufoe scored the third goal of the game for the ADM Tigers which made the score 3-0 ADM Tigers. Then with 18:55 left in the 2nd sophomore Jada Grove scored her second goal of the game on a penalty kick which made the score 4-0 in favor of the ADM Tigers. The ADM Tigers scored one more goal with 4:03 left in the match, when junior Helen Kirk kicked into the net for another ADM Tiger goal which was the final goal for the ADM Tigers on the night. Senior goalkeeper Dani Person had 3 saves on the night for the ADM Tigers, as she also has not given up a goal in her last four starts for the ADM Tigers.

This win for the ADM varsity girls will improve their record to 11-4 overall on the season. The ADM girls are currently on a nine game winning streak.  The ADM Tigers season will now continue as they will host the Gleenwood Rams tomorrow night in Adel 2A Region 7 final for a right to go to the Iowa State Soccer Tournament. That match tomorrow night will start at 7:00 pm.
