There are a couple of youth programs coming up with the Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department. 

Laser Tag is happening June 1st with two age groups, including second and third graders, along with fourth through sixth graders. The second and third graders will be from 10-11:30am and the fourth through sixth graders will be from 1:30-3pm at the Greene County Community Center. The cost to participate is $10 for community center members and $15 for non-members. The deadline to register is this Friday.

A boys basketball camp will be held from June 5th-7th for first through sixth graders from 11am-noon at the community center. The goal of the camp is to learn the fundamentals while also enjoying the sport of basketball. The cost to participate is $15 for community center members and $20 for non-members, and the fee also includes a t-shirt. The Greene County High School varsity players and coaches will lead the program.
