The Raccoon Valley Radio listening area is seeing some lingering water deficits. 

According to the US Drought Monitor, the northern part of Dallas County is abnormally dry and the majority of Guthrie County is abnormally dry. The northwestern portion of Greene County is in a moderate drought and the southeastern part of the county remains abnormally dry. 

According to the National Weather Service, since May 1st through last Friday, Perry has received 2.93-inches of precipitation, Guthrie Center has received 2.57-inches of precipitation and Jefferson has 2.4-inches of precipitation.
