Both High Schools in Greene County are having their respective commencement ceremonies.

Paton-Churdan High School will celebrate the 2023 senior class with its graduation ceremony later today at 2pm at the school’s gymnasium. There are 12 seniors who are graduating today. 

Greene County High School has its 2023 senior class commencement ceremony tomorrow at 2pm at Linduska Field. Superintendent Brett Abbotts shares his thoughts on this year’s seniors.

“(I’m) super excited about graduation. It’s a great time to celebrate the accomplishments that our kids from kindergarten straight through high school. It’s a really great time to be a Ram, I’m very excited for our students and staff to celebrate these seniors.” 

The keynote speaker is a Jefferson-Scranton High School graduate Michelle Gustafson. There are about 75 seniors that are going to be graduating. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved indoors at the high school auditorium.
