The Panorama Panthers girls track team had one state qualifier compete at the State Meet on Thursday.
That Panther was junior Jaidyn Sellers. Sellers has had prolific 2023 season. She would add more accolades at the State Meet. The events she was apart of on Thursday were the 100m preliminaries, 200m preliminaries, and the finals for 400m dash. Sellers would finish in first for the 100m with a time 12.35 seconds. She would also finish first in the 200m at 25.24 seconds.
The big race of the day was the 400m finals. Sellers was up against 23 other runners and managed to come out on top. She would finish in first place with the time of 56.67 seconds. A big win for the Panthers and Sellers continues to add to great legacy.
