Jayette Golfers Place 8th in Regional Competition Wednesday

The Perry girls golf team placed 8th out of 12 teams Wednesday in a Class 3A Region 2 battle at the Carroll Country Club. Gilbert won the meet and qualified for state with an impressive 321, while Nevada was runner up with 350. Addison Huntington led Perry placing 19th with an 18 hole total of 98. Zoey Vail was 26th with a total of 104. Jenna Nelson and Lilly Riley were both 44th with a round of 112. The meet marked the official close of the season for Perry golf.
