Tuesday night was the senior awards night at Greene County High School.
Guidance Counselor Allison Wenck says there were over 50 scholarships given away, along with other recognitions, including 16 seniors that completed one Career Academy Pathway, six that completed the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Program, the Seal of Biliteracy, National Honor Society officers, among others.
Wenck tells Raccoon Valley Radio that she is proud of this year’s senior class and everything they’ve accomplished throughout their high school careers. Tuesday night was about celebrating the diversity among the students and recognizing their scholarships and achievements. She adds that she’s excited to see where life will take them in the future.
The 2023 Greene County High School graduation ceremony is Sunday at 2pm. Click the link below to see the full list of scholarship and other award recipients. NOTE: there’s one change, the recipients of the Farm Bureau scholarships for Grace Curtis and McKinley Robbins, should say Greene County Farm Bureau and not Iowa Farm Bureau.
