The ADM varsity boys golf team participated in the District varsity golf meet in Atlantic on Monday May 15th. Here is how the ADM did on the day: Junior Easton Korell was medalists on the day with a score of 71. Junior Finn Garton and sophomore Grant Jansen were tied for 3rd place both with a score of 76. Sophomore Carter Madison got a 6th place finish with a score of 77, junior Lincoln Banwart placed 11th with a score of 82 and junior Grant Hickey placed 18th with a score of 88 for the ADM boys on the day.

The ADM varsity boys did get a first place finish on the day with a low score of 300, while runner-up Winterset had a score of 313. The ADM varsity boys and Winterset will now move on to the state golf tournament next week. The state golf tournament will be held in Ames on Monday May 22nd and Tuesday May 23rd. The start time of the state golf have not yet been announced. Congratulations  to the ADM varsity boys golf team on their great regular season and post season golf play and also congrats to the ADM Tiger varsity golf coach Nolan Gitch and his coaching staff and wish them the best of luck in next weeks state golf tournament next week in Ames.
