Adair County Iowa State Extension and Outreach has registration for their Speak Out for Agriculture trip available.
Madie Carstens with Adair County Extension says that 4-H members and youth in the county can sign up for the fun trip that will be next month. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio the places that they’ll be visiting.
“They are headed towards Kansas, and will be going for seed production at Kansas State University, Hildebrand Dairy, Hutchinson Zoo, a salt mine. And the price is $75 for a three day trip from June 14th to the 16th.”
Carstens mentions that their SOFA group also includes youth and 4-H members from Cass and Pottawatomie Counties as well, and that they must have completed any grade from 8th to 12th to participate.
