With graduations on the horizon, senior awards ceremonies are taking place for the two school districts in Greene County.

Greene County Senior Awards take place tonight at the high school auditorium starting at 7pm. Guidance Counselor Allison Wenck says in addition to scholarships being announced, students will also be recognized for their involvement in National Honor Society, completing the Career and Technical Education Program, along with various athletic awards, volunteerism, completing the Career Academy Program, blood donations, among others.

The Paton-Churdan 2023 Mentor Banquet is Wednesday at 6pm at the Paton Community Room. Organizers say this event allows seniors to be recognized for their individual roles they play in high school, as well as announcing scholarships and other honors.
