A crash in Woodward caused injuries to a Perry resident on Monday. 

According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened at 10:30pm on Highway 141 and T Avenue. A Buick Lucerne driven by Shayla McMains from Perry was traveling on Highway 141 when a Honda Accord driven by Norma Carlson from Woodward pulled out from T Avenue in front of her causing a collision. McMains was evaluated for injuries and taken to the Methodist Hospital in Des Moines and Carlson was not injured. Both vehicles were towed from the scene with an estimated $2,500 in damages. Carlson was also cited for failure to yield upon entering through highway.
