The Guthrie Center School Board will meet in regular session tonight.

The Board will consider for approval the resignations of high school science teacher Jennifer Reed, high school special education teacher Shelby Lewis and agriculture teacher Joelle Grubbs. They will then consider for approval contract recommendations and letters of assignment for Melissa Hall as a preschool teacher, Dave Lane as a bus driver, winter coaching contracts, 2023-24 TLC recommendations and summer mowing recommendations.

The Board will also consider for approval an air handling unit replacement, hear an update from Little Charger Early Learning Center and discuss upcoming dates. They will consider for approval a 2022-23 certified budget amendment, the addition of girls’ wrestling, extracurricular sharing agreements, spring 2023 reductions, flexible benefit plan agreement and a physical education waiver for Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center High School.

The meeting will be at 7pm in the high school media center. Raccoon Valley Radio will have results from the meeting later in the week.
