Greene County High School junior Nathan Behne plays in a Class 3A District golf tournament today in Orange City at the Landsmeer Course. Behne qualified by finishing fourth overall at the May 10 Carroll Sectional by shooting 78 for 18 holes. Gilbert and Hampton-Dumont were the advancing teams from the event at Carroll Country Club and the other individual qualifier joining Behne is from Webster City.

The Carroll Sectional qualifiers combine with qualifiers from the Spencer Sectional, which include teams from MOC-Floyd Valley (Orange City), Spencer, and Humboldt, plus individuals from Storm Lake and Sioux Center.

State qualifiers will play 36 holes May 22-23 at the Veenker Golf Course in Ames.
