The Greene County Supervisors will meet tomorrow morning.
The Board will consider the proclamation that May is Mental Health Month with the theme of “Look Around, Look Within.” They will then consider for approval a retirement resolution for Karen White with the law enforcement center, a pre-construction agreement with the Iowa Department of Transportation for a road project, and additional nominations for the Mahanay Maestros.
Additionally, the Board will consider approving the second reading of an ordinance to preserve the safety, health and welfare of the people of Greene County when the Register’s Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa (RAGBRAI) comes through the county on July 25th and then consider waiving the third required reading. They will also consider for approval a fund transfer of $276,000 from tax increment financing special reserve fund to the debt service fund, abatement of taxes and review the proposed budget amendment for the current fiscal year.
