This Sunday is Mother’s Day and one local organization in Jefferson is reminding everyone to think and shop local.

Jefferson Matters Executive Director Matt Wetrich encourages everyone to shop local and get that special gift or meal out for the mother in your life.

“It’s a lot of stuff you can do all right here locally. Absolutely, get out there (and) support your local folks. Support your mama, give her some love from J-Town, helping everybody out and feel the love.”   

Chamber Checks are also available at the Welcome Center as another gift idea.
