A young business held its ribbon cutting yesterday in Panora.

Local Liquor, a liquor and cigar store, opened last August, but has patiently wanted for the right time to do the big stuff. Yesterday at 5pm members of the Panora Chamber of Commerce were present for the ribbon cutting ceremony, and many enjoyed a selection of hor d’oeuvres while those of age were able to sample some of what Local Liquor sells.

The store has a wide variety of alcohol that it sells, and if they don’t have what you’re looking for, they’ll do what they can to get it as long as it’s sold in Iowa. While the ribbon cutting was yesterday, they will be having their grand opening tomorrow from 11am-2pm.
