The Perry Chamber of Commerce is bringing back their “Better My Business,” workshop which will address various topics and have special speakers. 

Chamber Executive Director Lynsi Pasutti says that they’re going to have this program from 8 to 9am tomorrow in the Towncraft Center for anyone that owns a business or organization that attracts visitors. Pasutti explains that the Iowa Tourism Office will be in attendance to teach how they operate and create marketing initiatives and outreach. She talks more about the details of the  workshop. 

“We’ll have a presentation of all things Iowa Tourism Office and what they do and then how we can better utilize them as a resource. And then the second half will be a working session. So bring your laptop, bring your mobile devices, make sure that you can login and update your listing, and then you can get started using their resources and it’s just one more layer for your own promotions to help get the word out about your business, about your events.”

This workshop will be free, but attendees will be encouraged to bring a laptop or mobile device. Registration will be welcomed by calling the chamber office.
