It’s National Teacher Appreciation Week, and a Guthrie County school district is making sure to show it.

Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center Superintendent Josh Rasmussen tells Raccoon Valley Radio why it’s important to let educators know how important they are.

“Just to thank our teachers and staff. They do a tremendous job allowing our students to grow and watching them grow up to become a senior and graduate. Just recognize our teachers and appreciate everything that they do.”

Rasmussen mentions that teachers play an important role in the development of children, and that they help shape them into the young adults they become when they finish high school.
