The Adel Police Department is once again partnering with the Adel Rotary Club to host the fourth annual Safety Bike Rodeo this weekend. 

This come and go event will run from 9 until 11am at the city hall parking lot. Kids who range in ages five to 12 are invited to participate in the police department’s program which teaches children about proper bike safety, including proper protective equipment and the rules of the road. There will also be an obstacle course for the kids to try and they will receive a certificate for completion. Additionally, there will be interactive activities like tours of police vehicles and fire engines along with free giveaways and drawings to win prizes. 

There is no cost to attend the Adel Safety Bike Rodeo, and no registration is required.
