The Greene County Supervisors will meet tomorrow morning.
The Board will consider for approval the first reading of an ordinance to preserve the safety, health and welfare of the people of Greene County during the Register’s Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa and establishing a permit for food services and merchandise vendors in the unincorporated parts of Greene County on July 25th. They can also consider waiving the second and third readings.
Additionally, the Board will consider approving a beer permit for Lakeside National Golf Club, a resolution to hire a full time emergency medical technician for the ambulance department, hear an update from Jefferson City Administrator Mike Palmer, and set two public hearings, including a second hog confinement in Section 21 of Greenbrier Township, a tax abatement for a state of Iowa parcel and an amendment to the 2023 fiscal year budget.
