The ADM boys varsity track team traveled to Carroll for the Raccoon River Conference this past week on Wednesday May 3rd. The ADM Tigers did really well in the running events on the day. Junior Aiden Flora placed 2nd and freshman Jamaul Richardson-Williams placed 8th in the 100 meter dash. Junir Aiden Flora placed 3rd and junior Zach Lohmann placed 5th in the 200 meter dash. Sophomore Cameron Forgy placed 7th and sophomore Grant Engleman placed 8th in the 400 meter dash. Senior Harrison Desmarais placed 7th in the 800 meter run. Sophomore Torin Timmerman placed 7th in the 1,600 meter run. Sophomore Torin Timmerman placed 4th in the 3,200 meter run. Senior Jacob Kitzinger placed 8th in the 110 meter hurdles. Sophomore Keaton Kier placed 3rd and junior Zach Lohmann placed 7th in the 400 meter hurdles.

The ADM Boys did a very good job in the relay and medley races on the day. The team of Aiden Flora, Jacob Kitzinger, Cade Morse and Jamual Richardson-Williams placed 3rd in the 4×100 meter relay. The team of Aiden Flora, Carter Padget, Cade Morse and Jamual Richardson-Williams placed 2nd in the 4×200 meter relay. The team of Grant Engleman, Cade Morse, Brayden Rynearson and Chase Grove got a 2nd place finish in the 4×400 meter relay. The team of Hudson Shull, Pierson Lee, Sam Peters and Harrison Desmarais placed 5th in the 4×800 meter relay. The team of Grant Engleman, Jacob Kitzinger, Zach Lohmann and Chase Grove placed 4th in the 800 sprint medley. The team of Cade Morse, Carter Padget, Chase Grove and Shay Holdmeyer placed 3rd in the distance medley. The team of Zach Lohmann, Jacob Kitzinger, Luke Krantz and Joseph Kitzinger placed 1st in the 4×110 meter shuttle hurdle.

The ADM boys did a very fantastic job on the fielding events on the day. Sophomore Wil Grasty placed 2nd and sophomore Kyler Chapman placed 7th in the high jump. Junior Tyler Gelhaar placed 4th in the long jump. Senior Vince Benetti placed 2nd and junior Drew Hickey placed 3rd in the shot put. Senior Vince Benetti placed 1st and junior Drew Hickey placed 2nd respectively in the discus throw.

The ADM boys did finish as a team with a runner-up finish with 134 points while North Polk took first place with 176 points on the day. The next ADM boys varsity track meet will be Thursday May 11th in Carlisle for a varsity state qualifying event. That meet will get underway at 4:00 PM.
