Thursday night the Chargers track teams were in action at a meet in Panora. The boys scored 122 points overall, taking 2nd place on the night. Eli Madsen and Jedd Weinkoetz took 5th and 7th place respectively in the 100m dash, while in the 200m dash Alex Spack took 5th and Joe Crawford grabbed 7th. Easton Stringham collected a 7th place finish in the 400m dash, while Justin Reinhart came in 5th for the 800m, and Andrew Mahaffey and Jarrett McClain secured 1st and 7th places respectively in the 1600m.

Treyton Schneider, Brexton Schneider and Jathan South all finished in the top 8 for the Chargers in the 110m hurdles, taking 3rd, 4th and 6th places respectively, then in the 400m hurdles Tate Fever grabbed 2nd place. In relay races, the team took 2nd place in the 4x800m and 1st in the sprint medley. For field events, Payton Jacobe and Mike Fuller took the top 2 spots in shot put respectively, while Mason Wahl grabbed 4th and Fuller came in 5th for the Discus.

For the girls team, Paige Van Meter came in 8th in the 100m dash, Saige O’Brien grabbed 7th in the 200m dash, and Ava Campbell secured second place in the 800m run. Campbell also secured 2nd in the 1500m with Adalyn Benson taking 8th, while in the 100m hurdles Hayden Coffman snagged 8th place, and in the 3000m Emmarae Ellis grabbed 4th place. For relay events, the team came in 7th in the sprint medley and in field events Becca Littler took 8th in discus.
