The Perry co-ed track teams will travel to Saydel tonight for the annual Heart of Iowa Conference meet.  It will mark the final meet of the regular season before next Thursday’s all important state qualifying meet.  Shaylena Bell is hoping the boy’s squad will be healthy tonight.  Perry has been without two of their top athletes over the past couple of weeks.  Juan Hernandez and Bryce Anliker have missed several meets with various injuries.

“I have been so proud of our team this season,” Bell told KDLS during the PM Sports Magazine Monday night.  “We have been dealt a couple of injuries but others have really stepped up.  Owen has had a fantastic season in the 400 hurdles while we continue to experiment and try and find the right combination in a couple of our relays.  The Sprint Med, 4×2 and 4×4 have all been solid for us this season.”
