The Panorama School District will have a new superintendent.

In a special School Board meeting April 28th, Superintendent Shawn Holloway submitted his letter of resignation. Holloway says that he has accepted a position as superintendent with the Norwalk School District. The Board approved the resignation, effective the end of the fiscal year on June 30th.

In the same meeting, the Board discussed their next steps in finding a superintendent. School Board President Deb Westergaard presented information from the Iowa Association of School Boards pertaining to the Superintendent Search Process, while Secretary Symantha Crawford provided information from a legal perspective. Before the May 8th regular meeting, the Board will have a workshop to continue the process of searching for a new superintendent and reviewing proposals.
