Guthrie and Dallas County residents that use Highway 141 may need to take a different route starting next week.

On Monday, the Department of Transportation will be starting an asphalt crack filling project that may cause slower travel times. Weather permitting, crews will be starting at Iowa Highway 4 and working their way to U.S. Highway 169, and will be working weekdays from 8am to 7pm until June 1st. For those still traveling through the work zone, flaggers will assist traffic.
