Both the Panorama Panther soccer teams were in action on Tuesday.

The girls were up first. They were coming into this game after an up and down weekend. They were in the Monarch Girls Soccer Tournament on Saturday. They started the day with a 2-0 win over Sioux City North but would lose to Gilbert 2-1. This would put the Panthers at 8-2 this season heading into the game with Grand View Christian. The girls were ready to play and came out firing. They came away with a big 5-0 blowout win. The Panthers would improve to 9-2.

The boys were also looking to rebound. They were in an offensive battle with Clarke on Monday. The Indians would come away with the win, 5-4. Panorama would come into this game with a 4-4 record. Their game with the Thunder was a little closer than the girls. At least in the first half. The Thunder held a small 1-0 lead heading into the break. In the second half the Panthers offense would come alive. Sophomore Taytum Bates, juniors Maddox Hammerstrom and Braylon Dawes all came away with goals giving Panorama the 3-1 win. They’ll be back over .500 at 5-4.

The girls will be back in action on Saturday. They’ll be in the Creston Tournament. That tournament starts at 9am. The boys won’t be back on the pitch until Monday. They’ll be back home to play Des Moines Christian. That game starts at 7:30pm.
