Paton-Churdan took part in the Rolling Valley Activities Conference track & field coed meet on Monday in Mondamin hosted by West Harrison. The girls scored 23 points and the two person boys’ team did not get on the scoreboard. The Rockets were eighth among the nine girls’ teams in the conference.

The highest placing for the Rockets came in the long jump where freshman Becca Anderson won with a personal best leap of 15′ 11-1/2″. She won by just over a foot from the nearest competitor.  Coach Korey Jeschke told Raccoon Valley Radio Monday’s meet was just the second time Anderson had long jumped and she topped her previous best by 12 inches.
