12:11am: An officer located an Open Door and secured the building at 501 West Greenewood Road.
12:50am: An officer located a male subject gathering used cigarette butts from the Smoker’s Receptable at 205 West McKinley Street. The subject was advised the business was closed and he needed to leave the property.
1:23am: An officer located an Open Door and secured the business at 507 West Wall Street.
4:42am: A Traffic Stop in the 1600 Block of North Grimmell Road resulted in Anthony Peterson being issued a citation for, “Excessive Speed.”
10:51am: Congregate Meals requested a Welfare Check on a subject in the 1000 Block of West Adams Street. The officer spoke to the subject, who was fine.
2:40pm: Public Works advised of an Abandoned Vehicle in the parking lot at 204 West Harrison Street. The officer is working to speak to the owner to have it removed.
4:15pm: Staff at the GCMC, located at 1000 West Lincoln Way Street, turned over a small bag of suspected marijuana located at the facility. The officer will destroy the item.
4:01pm: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 700 Block of West Madison Street.
5:12pm: Brindlee Jones reported she was outside her residence with her dog on a leash. She advised a neighbor’s dog came to her yard and the animals began growling at each other. She kicked at the animal, and it ran back home. The officer issued Brittany Olson a citation for, “Animal at Large – Prohibited.”
6:43pm: An officer was requested for a Civil Property Issue occurring at 107 North Olive Street. The officer spoke to the subject moving out of the residence and advised them to call if an issue arises.
7:36pm: The GCMC requested a Welfare Check on a subject in the 100 Block of West Vest Street. The officer spoke to the subject, who advised he was fine.
8:04pm: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 700 Block of North Cedar Street.
8:24pm: Dispatch advised of an Abandoned 911 Call from 403 Sundown Court. The officer checked with the resident, who advised all was fine.
8:53pm: A caller advised of a Barking Dog at 304 East Monroe Street. The officer spoke to the owners, who advised they would stop the animal from barking . The officer advised citations will be issued if the issue continues.
9:30pm: Phillip Amos advised of receiving threatening messages on Face Book. They demanded money, or they would end his life. He did not send any money to the scammers.
