Greene County junior Jack Hansen shot 82 and tied for the second best score at Tuesday’s Heart of Iowa Activities Conference Golf Tournament east of State Center at Lincoln Valley Golf Course. Hansen was third on a tie-breaker and he earned All-Conference honors for his efforts and was the lone Ram to do so. Coach Kyle Kinne reports the wind was unbelievable and the greens were hard. Even putting was effected by the wind as the coach said numerous players on the day had putts blown off the green. In addition to Hansen, the other three scores counting for the Rams were 96 from Nathan Behne, 100 for Nathan Towers, and 101 by Cody McCollom.

PCM (Monroe) won the team title with 341, followed by Nevada 358, the host team from West Marshall 366, Greene County 379, South Hamilton (Jewell) 383, Roland-Story (Story City) 385, and 472 for Saydel (Des Moines). Perry did not have a team score.
