The Dallas Center-Grimes golf team fought windy conditions and a long course but still competed well at the 9 hole Grinnell Tournament on Tuesday.

The Mustangs finished with a score of 204 which placed fourth out of the competition of Grinnell, Newton and Oskaloosa. Senior Laura Klaessy shot a score of 46 and was three strokes shy of tying the winning overall score. Also, Sophomore Sydney Miller finished second on the team with a score of 52 and both senior Lydia Eligh and senior Ellie Weddle shot a 53.

The Mustang girls golf team will just play one more time at Copper Creek Golf Course tomorrow before their conference meet kicks off in Grimes on Monday, May 8th.
