The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session today.
The Board will consider for approval a fireworks permit for Shady Beach at Lake Panorama for July 1st, and a fireworks permit for a private residence at Lake Panorama for July 2nd, 3rd or 4th. They will also hear updates from Health Services Director Jotham Arber on a 28E Agreement between Guthrie County and Audubon County Public Health, and from County Engineer Josh Sebern.
In Sebern’s update, he will review what he learned at the National County Engineers Conference, present an amendment to the fiscal year 2023 budget and bring a payroll change notice for Leroy White, a new hire. The Board will discuss and take possible action on the Law Enforcement Center, regarding a recommendation on signage, yardwork update, Grand Street Update and potential open house date and ribbon cutting.
The meeting will be at 9am in the Board of Supervisors Room in the Guthrie County Courthouse. For those unable to attend in person, there is a digital option available here. Raccoon Valley Radio will have results from the meeting tomorrow.
