Dallas Center-Grimes girls golf team hit a variety of personnel records on the course on Thursday in Marshalltown.
As a team of four they shot their best score of the season cracking 400, with a 392 which was good enough 9th out of 14 teams at the Linda Bloom Invite on the American Legion Golf Course. Senior Laura Klaessy shot a season best 89 which placed 17th with two pars and one birdie. Klaessy shot a 43 on the front nine and a 46 on the back. She was one stroke shy of her career best which was a 88 at the 2022 conference tournament.
Senior Lydia Eligh placed 22nd and set her career best with a score of 92. Eligh finished with four pars and was triple bogey free through 18 holes with a 46 on the front and 46 on the back. Other girls that put down personnel best include Sydney Miller, Ellie Weddle, Sydney Meints and Kylie Sonberg.
The Mustangs will pick up the clubs for a tournament on May 2nd in Grinnell.
