Tuesday, April 25th

6:17am: An Officer was dispatched to the Super 8 Motel, 207 West Gallup Road for an abandon 911 call. Upon arrival the Officer spoke with the manager and was told he did not call 911. The Officer checked the rest of the property and found no reason for the call.

6:37am: An Officer performed a traffic stop in the 700 block of North Elm Street. As a result of the traffic stop, Hailey Beckett of Boone was issued a citation for “Excessive Speed”

12:38pm: Iowa Home Care requested a welfare check on a client who lived in the 1200 block of Westwood Drive. The Officer checked the property and found the client was not home.

4:25pm: An Officer performed a traffic stop in the 400 block of East McKinley Street. As a result of the traffic stop, Melissa Niles of Jefferson was issued a citation for “Excessive Speed”

4:55pm: An Officer was dispatched to a vacant building in the 100 block of South Wilson Street for a report of several broken windows. The Officer found the broken windows and the incident is under investigation.
