This weekend Greenfield will have their annual tree planting project.

The annual local shade tree planting project is scheduled for Saturday starting at 9am, but if there is inclement weather, a rain date of May 6th has been set. Those looking to volunteer for the project are to meet at the Adair County Fairgrounds. Groups of five or less will receive instructions and then pick up some trees and supplies. Volunteers are encouraged to bring gloves, shovels and sufficient adult driven pickups to transport trees for each group.
