A single vehicle accident caused a fatality Thursday morning in Dallas County.

According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the incident at approximately 12:40 am at the 12000 block of 160th Street, south of Dawson. The report says 29-year-old Kurtis Gustaveson was the lone occupant and he was pronounced dead at the scene in the north ditch of 160th Street.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation. The Perry Police Department and the Perry Fire Department assisted in this investigation. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
