The ADM Boys varsity track traveled to Jefferson on Monday April 17th for a coed invitational track meet. Here is how the ADM Boys did in the running events. Junior Aiden Flora placed 1st and Freshman Jamual Richardson-Williams placed 3rd in the 100 meter dash. Sophomore Grant Engleman placed 2nd and Freshman Jamual Richardson-Williams placed 4th in the 200 meter dash. Sophomore Grant Engleman placed first while teammates freshman Hudson Shull placed 2nd and Senior Joel Freiermuth placed 9th in the 400 meter dash. Senior Joel Freiermuth placed 9th in the 800 meter run. Sophomore Isaac Chapman placed 7th and Senior Pierson Lee placed 9th in the 1,600 meter run. Junior Hunter Landphair placed 4th and Freshman Robbie Hall placed 5th in the 3,200 meter run. Junior Cameron Nish placed 2nd and junior Evan Rouncount placed 5th in the 110 meter hurdles. Sophomore Joseph Kitzinger placed 4th and sophomore Keaton Kier placed 5th in the 400 meter hurdle.
The ADM boys did have at least one team finish in the top ten of the each and every relay and medley races on the day. The team of Reed Obstarczyk, Carter padget, Jon Hatchitt, Talon Harvey placed 4th in the 4×100 meter relay. The team of Reed Obstarczyk, Carter Padget, Jon Hatchitt and Talon Harvey placed 4th in the 4×200 meter relay. The team of Zach Lohmann, Cade Morse, Chase Grove and Brayden Rynearson placed 1st in the 4×400 meter relay. The team of Sam Peters, Pierson Lee, Isaac Chapman, Rylan Banse placed second in the 4×800 meter relay. The team of Jon Hatchitt, Talon Harvey, Reed Obstarczyk and Carter Padget placed 4th in the 800 sprint medley. The team of Jon Hatchitt, Talon Harvey, Sam Peters and Camden Post placed 4th in the distance medley. The team of Cameron Nish, Evan Roundcount, Caleb Oberhoffer and Joseph Kitzinger placed 1st in the 4×100 meter shuttle hurdle.
The ADM Boys did have a few guys place in the top ten of the fielding events on the day. Sophomore Will Grasty placed second while teammate sophomore Kyler Chapman placed 4th in the high jump. Sophomore Grant Engleman placed 9th and sophomore Joseph Kitzinger placed 10th in the long jump. Junior Caleb Coghlan placed 8th and Sophomore Ryan Entriken placed 10th in the shot put. Sophomore Karver Sutton placed 8th in the discus throw.
ADM boys did place first as a team on the day with 124 points while runner-up Kuemper Catholic had 121 points on the day. The next ADM boys varsity track meet will be Thursday April 20th in Newton for a invitational. That meet starts at 4:30 PM.
