Marshalltown fought back from a 2-0 halftime deficit to defeat Perry 3-2 in overtime in non conference soccer action Monday night at Dewey Field.  Perry had the opportunity to put the game away on a penalty kick early in the second half, but missed the opportunity to go up 3-0.

“That was certainly the turning point of the game,” stated Head Coach Gary Overla.  “The game and momentum switched after that.  They really had us on our heels after that moment.”

Perry falls to 2-2 on the season and will travel to State Center Thursday for the conference opener.
