Monday, April 17th
7:45am: Brad Meyers reported glass on the roadway near Elm and 220th Street. The officer determined the items were ice, not glass and took no action.
10:48am: Mark Cranston reported a Parking Complaint at Park and Cedar Streets. The officer did not locate the reported vehicle.
12:59pm: Dispatch advised of a 911 Call from a cell phone mapping at 1901 North Grimmell Road. The officer made contact with the student, who advised the phone misdialed and all was fine.
3:23pm: An officer checked on a parked vehicle near Doreen Wilbur Drive and 220th Street. The officer learned the subjects had pulled over to rest before traveling further.
3:35pm: A Traffic Stop at Elm and Clark Streets resulted in Luke Roeder of Jefferson being cited for, “operation without Registration.”
3:50pm: Dispatch advised of a 911 Call from the area of the 200 Block of Wilcoxway. The officer did not locate anyone needing assistance in the area.
4:05pm: Terry Brown reported an opossum caught in his box of cans at 3 Park Ave. South. The officer released the animal outside of the city.
5:47pm: Allison Holcombe spoke with an officer concerning a Civil Property Issue.
7:11pm: Dave Wright advised of a Stray Dog running freely at the track meet at 101 Ram Drive. The officer placed the dog in the Animal Holding Facility.
8:13pm: An officer issued a Parking Violation Notice in the 500 block of South Chestnut Street for, “Parked Between the Lot Line and Curb Line.”
8:46pm: Jonathan Kniffin reported subjects knocking on his door and running away in the 700 Block of West Harrison Street.
11:36pm: A Traffic Stop at Maple and Lincoln Way resulted in Tasha Pierschbacher of Perry being cited for, “Operation without Registration.”
